2015 TRICIAlutions, REYsolutions

Because we're still at it..

They said that one of the best ways to be able to reach one's goals and make one's resolutions real is sharing it with other people. That way, you have people who can remind you and you can somehow be accountable to so we're sharing some of our resolutions with you.

If you have your own list of hopes and plans and dreams and desires, we wish you well.

We can do it- by God's grace, one step at a time.

TRICIAlutions..

I am not the type to make a list of my new year's resolution. I am someone who always strives to be better and make the most out of every situation but since Rey is so kulit about us writing a resolution.

Below is my list of what praying that I can do better:

1. Be more grateful for both small and big thing things that I am blessed with.

2. Go to the gym-- sayang ang membership!

3. Limit late nights (AT WORK!)

4. According to Rey, I should lessen my katakawan (especially with potato chips) - goodluck! Magiging extra sungit ako if I do this.

5. According to Rey, I should be a morning person- mahirap gumising pag kulang sa tulog! Haha!

Seriously, I am just grateful for another year to experience God's love and I just want to live this this year without regrets.

We have 365 chances to make this year awesome, let's rock!

REYsolutions

No matter how pedestrian, usual or undermined making resolutions is, I still believe in it. It helps me assess the previous year and provides me a springboard to take off, motivation to jumpstart and hope to move on.

So here's mine:

1. Log at least 60 kilometers a week but more than anything enjoy running for the sheer joy of doing it. Enough pressure to push me, enough lax not to get stressed.

2. Leisure reading at least every quarter.

3. Keep a journal again, write more.

4. Eat properly. Focus on becoming healthy and strong than losing weight.

5. STOP PROCRASTINATING (SOON.. haha!)

6. Start saving (because Jesus saves!)

7. Love my self a little bit more.

8. Try another sport, boxing maybe (or.. sungka?)

9. Pursue photography.

10. Do backpacking.

11. Be a better version of me.

12. BALANCE in everything.

13. Learn what it is really to have faith in God.

14. Lastly, comb my hair everyday. SIGH!

As Tricia said, let's maximize the 365 chances we have- LET'S ROCK IT!

Aside from our personal plans and resolutions, we draft our calendar for at least six months which because of our insanity and wanting to do almost everything, changes every now and then. Because of this, we decided to list down our "non-negotiable" "almost sure" races and trips. Here they are:

But.. As of press time, this has already been revised. That's how spontaneous/ crazy we are.

Trivia: The origin of making New Year's resolutions rests with the Babylonians, who reportedly made promises to the gods in hopes they'd earn good favor in the coming year. They often resolved to get out of debt. (Source: www.history.com)
